The BA (Journalism) prepares you for work in the fast-paced and exciting world of journalism, communication and media.

You will develop a broad theoretical foundation and practical skills in gathering, verifying and presenting news and information for media such as newspapers, magazines, television, radio and the internet. You will cover the core areas of journalism including Broadcast Journalism, Journalism Writing, Media Theory, English and a choice of Communication Science or Public Relations (PR). You will also cover subject areas such as Political Science, New Media, Photojournalism, Media Ethics and Webpage Design.
