The Pretoria campus is modern, quiet and safe and is spread over two buildings with a connecting pathway between them. The spacious library with Internet and research facilities (Resource Centre) is conveniently located in the building right next to the lecture venues, but far enough away to ensure a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for studying. Student spill out areas include a relaxation area with pool tables and a canteen.
Academic and personal assistance is available to all students through the Student Support Centre, which is managed by the Psychology department in cooperation with the final year Psychology students. A 24-hour support line is also at students' disposal. This is over and above the passionate involvement of all lecturers in the wellbeing of their students.
As one of the largest campuses, Pretoria students have the exciting privilege of rubbing shoulders with interesting people from diverse backgrounds – not only from within South Africa, but also international students from many different countries. This exposure to different cultures, opinions and ways of life contributes to the holistic education of students and prepares them to make the most of the myriad of influences they will encounter within the working world.
The campus is situated in the open, leafy eastern suburbs of Pretoria, Gauteng, within walking distance of Menlyn Shopping Centre. Studying at the campus means building a career within the vibrant business and social hub of the Menlyn area. Public transport, including Gautrain buses, is in abundance.
